Monarch’s Scholarship
What is the Monarch’s Scholarship? The Imperial Sun Court of All Florida (ISCOAF) General Membership, Board of Directors, and College of Monarchs on an ongoing basis will raise money for this fund that will be used to award members and allies of the LGBTQ+ community scholarship money to attend a Florida college, university, or trade school. Whats the Purpose of the Scholarship? The recipient of this scholarship award should be a member or ally of the gay, lesbian, transgender, non-binary, intersex, or straight community. As an organization, ISCOAF wants this award to encourage and support continuing education for individuals involved in the LGBTQ+ community. The goal of the scholarship is to support LGBTQ+ individuals in achieving their academic and educational goals. Terms of Scholarship The Monarch’s Scholarship shall be awarded to two (2) recipients in the amount of $1,000 and will be paid directly to the awardees by the ISCOAF Treasurer. Recipients are asked to attend and be recognized for their award at the Coronation Ball in January. | What Does the Scholarship Entail? Scholarship awards in the amount of $1,000 each will be presented to two (2) recipients, two (2) times per year, corresponding to Fall and Spring academic calendars. Who is Eligible?
